Apple Picking

To celebrate Aunts Angie & Anna's birthdays, our families headed up to Blue Ridge to do some apple picking and hanging out at the Suskays' cabin.  Brandon HAD to attend the Mississippi St. vs UGA game in Athens, as he attended MSU and hasn't been to one of their games in ages.  He was greatly missed but had a good time on his Saturday as well. Here's what C and I did on the 1st of October:

7:30am--leave the house
8:00-9:00--sob hysterically (this was mostly Carson)
9:20--C falls asleep

9:30--arrive at Mercier Orchards...of course only minutes after she drifted off
10:00--tractor ride up to the apple trees (which were MUCH smaller than I expected)

10:05-12:00--pick (and eat) apples

12:05-12:30--buy fried pies (YUM!) and listen to bluegrass band playing at the country store where you catch the tractor

1:00--lunch at the cabin--delicious chili Angie's sister Mandie & her husband made

2:00--C takes a nap

3:30--Carson's up and so is the bouncy house!

6:00--campfire time!

7:00-9:00--drive home

Thanks so much to everybody for amazing food and precious memories!  We so look forward to seeing these guys grow up together!
